Solid Colour Paint Repair Pen Set

Definition: The combo all-in-one pen brush bottle scratch kit repairs deep paint scratches and paint chips on the metal body parts, Also repairs bumper bars and all plastic garnishes, and panels.

Notes: If the bare metal has been left uncovered for more than two hours it is possible that the steel would have commenced rusting and even though you may apply undercoat primer, the corrosion will continue and rust will appear in time. Stop rust should always be applied over bare metal before any top coat color or undercoats.

If bare plastic is not primed prior to painting using the adhesion promotor, expect the applied top coat color to possibly peel away or fall off in time.

Tips & Tricks: do not paint light scratches, always try and remove them using the blemish remover first. The same applies to paint transfers and other industrial fall out.

COLOR

Definition: Non-metallic paint color pen is used to cover deep discolored scratches, chips & paint defects caused by the impact of an object where color coats are completely removed and/or left paint transfer that is impervious to solvent & is too thick to remove using cream cutting agents.

Procedure: Remove the cap and discharge the initial amount to the rubbish by pressing the pen down in an upright position and squeezing the pen body slightly. Apply 1 to 2 coats to the damaged area where the color has been completely removed. Allow drying for 5 minutes in good weather in between coats.

Paint Color Tips & Tricks: Always know your paint layers and make sure you are not touching up clear scratches with color or the scratch will look just as bad as the original scratch. You can usually tell which layer the scratch is in when using the Solvent or Clean-up solution. As the solvent is applied it will give the area a wet look. While it is wet if the scratch disappears that usually means that your paint scratch is confined to the topcoat layer of the paint and Clear Gloss should be used.

2) POLISHING WAX

Definition: Topcoat waxing polish is designed to protect your vehicles and other items of paintwork. Note: Wax polish is not included in this kit.

Procedure: Apply a generous amount of polishing wax to the microfibre polishing cloth. Using a circular polishing action apply the polish to the entire panel and allow it to dry to a haze. Using a second microfiber cloth remove the applied wax.

Polishing Wax Tips & Tricks: Always wash your vehicle and allow it to dry before commencing waxing. Do not polish your vehicles and other items in the sun.
